We set up the Ruxstons Chocolate Factory because we wanted to create more of our own products. While we love working with artisan suppliers from Somerset and beyond, there’s something special about making something from start to finish.
Produced in our own Chocolate Factory in Somerset
From our factory in Wellington, Somerset, we produce everything from classic bars to hand-painted chocolate domes. If you’re looking for a luxury gift box, a Christmas selection, or a set of chocolate Valentine’s hearts, you’ll find them here. We also enjoy experimenting with playful creations, like our chocolate coffee cup made with Brazier coffee, or a high-heeled chocolate shoe.

One especially exciting thing is the chocolate making classes we offer, currently on the last Saturday of every month.

Our History in Chocolate
Ruxstons co-founder Gabriel first launched a chocolate company called Discover Chocolate in 2014. After travelling to Turin, Italy, he developed his own range of bars and spent four years selling them through farm shops, delis, and wholefood stores across the UK and parts of Europe. He even built his own factory in the UK. Although the business was sold in 2018, the passion never went away, and by creating the Ruxstons Chocolate Factory here in Somerset, Gabriel has the chance to bring that creativity back to life with new chocolate ideas and experiences.
