Biscuits & Crackers

Biscuits are typically sweet and crumbly, made with more sugar and fat, while crackers are savory and crisp, often containing less sugar and more salt. As for health, crackers made from whole grains can be nutritious, with fibre and essential nutrients, though some may be high in sodium and fats. The term “biscuit” comes from the Latin “bis coctus,” meaning “twice baked,” a method originally used to create durable bread for long sea voyages.

Our Biscuits & Crackers

Biscuits have long been a staple in British households, loved for their comforting crunch and perfect pairing with a cup of tea. Whether enjoyed as an everyday treat or a special indulgence, they offer something for everyone, from simple classics to more adventurous flavours. Their popularity also stems from the huge variety available, catering to different tastes, dietary needs, and traditions.

With our range, there are several reduced guilt options such as organic digestives by Doves Farm to gluten and dairy free lemon zest cookies, there’s something for everyone. Prefer a more indulgent treat? Rest assured, there’s still a place for you here, with classics like our crunchy oat flips.

We’re also lucky in Somerset to have an excellent cracker maker, Easy Bean, who offers some amazing gluten free and dairy free crackers that are truly special. Many of our regulars come in just for their incredible flavour combinations, our personal favourite is sesame and seaweed.
