A robust black tea crafted from carefully selected orthodox Assam leaves. The larger leaf style gives a slower infusion, drawing out a bold depth with malty sweetness and a hint of earthiness. Assam teas come from India’s humid Brahmaputra Valley, a region famous for producing some of the strongest and most full-bodied teas in the world. Interestingly, Assam was the first area outside of China to be recognised for tea cultivation, making it a cornerstone of British tea traditions. Best enjoyed with milk to soften the richness, though it also works well with lemon if you prefer a lighter edge.
