This chutney is made with ale from the dark side of the moor! A homemade recipe is taken to another level with wiveliscombe based Exmoor Ales’ Exmoor Beast Ale, a rich, dark ale that brings incredible depth of flavour. Named after the legendary Beast of Exmoor, a mysterious, panther-like creature said to roam the moor.

The result is a chutney with layers of flavour, balancing sweetness, spice, and the robust notes of the ale. It goes beautifully with strong cheeses like mature Cheddar or Stilton, where its richness complements their sharpness.
