Our 100% grass fed lamb shank, a cut from the lower leg, cooked slowly it creates one of the best cuts of all of lamb and becomes a real showstopper. The texture is phenomenal, and the flavour deep and well rounded, with low and slow cooking a "fall off the bone" finish can be achieved and is immensely satisfying when done perfectly. 350g per one shank average. Sold in singles.

We will always choose the weight from our stock closest to your choice as possible. However please allow a small ±50g tolerance for your selection.

 

After hanging for a minimum of 5 days, this lamb is butchered, then vacuum packed and frozen, perfectly preserving the best taste and quality at it's most fresh. Freezing also eliminates any food waste.

Ruxstons Delivery

We offer a frozen product delivery for our grass fed meats and meat boxes, with insulative woolcool and ice packs, our parcels are sent via DHL Next Day courier. The parcels are all tracked so you are able to be present for the delivery, we dispatch from Tuesdays to Thursdays to avoid weekend delays. If any of the meat arrives partially defrosted (but still chilled) it is perfectly safe to refreeze for later consumption without sacrificing quality.

For our ambient pantry products, the delivery and packaging are priced without the cost of woolcool and ice packs. These are posted on a 24Hr service from Monday to Friday.
