Our organic chicken drumsticks are a cut from the lower part of the chicken leg which is a dark meat, it therefore is flavoursome but also a slightly firmer texture. They are great for roasting on the barbecue, or, as it is a meat on the bone, a slow cook produces all of the extra flavour, which also releases collagen, and minerals such as calcium and phosphorus.

We will always choose the weight from our stock closest to your choice as possible. However please allow a small tolerance for your selection within the weight bands.

These whole chickens are frozen the day they come back from the butchery, preserving the exquisite taste and quality. It also allows us to sell the finest produce all year round as the chickens are best when farmed seasonally on the richest pastures.

Ruxstons Delivery

We offer a frozen product delivery for our grass fed meats and meat boxes, with insulative woolcool and ice packs, our parcels are sent via Next Day courier. The parcels are all tracked so you are able to be present for the delivery, we dispatch from Mondays to Thursdays to avoid weekend delays. If any of the meat arrives partially defrosted (but still chilled) it is perfectly safe to refreeze for later consumption without sacrificing quality.

For our ambient pantry products, the delivery and packaging are priced without the cost of woolcool and ice packs. These are posted on a 24Hr service from Monday to Friday.
