The Best Gift Ideas from Ruxstons, Wellington
When you come to Ruxstons you will be met with an explosion of colour and a lot of gift ideas. Ruxstons remains one of the largest wholefood shops in Somerset, but we also have a huge range of chocolate and speciality foods which suit gifting perfectly. It can feel a little overwhelming when you first come in, so we have put together a few of our favourite gift ideas below.

Gift Box of Chocolates
Our chocolate gift boxes are the most obvious option. We handmake all of these chocolates in our on-site chocolate factory and, if you are looking for an authentic gift, they are truly perfect. Made in Wellington, they are a genuinely local gift with a great story behind them. Each chocolate is hand painted and carefully finished before being packed into the gift box. One of the most popular ones is our coffee gift chocolate box. Made with locally roasted coffee from Brazier Coffee roaster in Wellington it is perfect for a coffee lover.

Jar of Raw Honey
William Fuest from Wheddon Cross knows a thing or two about beekeeping. His bees roam the hedgerows, flowers and thickets of Exmoor producing some of the best raw honey around. His range includes runny, set and heather honey. He also sells delicious raw honeycomb which makes a particularly good gift as it is not something you see everywhere.

Pistachio Spread
Whilst a standalone jar may not sound particularly dramatic, this authentic Sicilian Pistachio Spread is incredibly popular and any pistachio lover would be very grateful to receive it. It can be enjoyed on pancakes, croissants, brioche or simply eaten straight from the jar. Rich, smooth and intensely nutty, it is one of those products people quickly become obsessed with.
Gluten Free Pasta
Do you know someone who is coeliac? If so, they likely have a hard time finding genuinely good quality pasta suitable for their diet. Our range allows you to build your own hamper and they will be thrilled. We offer oat, corn, red lentil and green pea varieties of gluten free pasta, all of which are fully suitable for coeliacs.
We recommend buying them the Gluten Free Oat Pasta. This is not hugely common so you will get more of a suprised and excited reaction when they try it for the first time.

Chocolate Making Course
Of course, you do not need to buy a physical gift for someone. You can instead buy them a chocolate making class. We sell vouchers for our Level 1 course at £70 per person. The workshop lasts around 5 to 5.5 hours and guests learn about chocolate under the watchful eye of master chocolatier Lubo Rotak.
During the class they will paint moulds in colours of their choice, learn about tempering chocolate and create their own filled chocolates to take home. It is a fantastic gift for anyone passionate about food, baking or craft.

There you have it, five great gift ideas from Ruxstons for a range of people.
