This organic oat fusilli uses wholegrain oats and follows the traditional spiral shape. It has a slightly rougher texture and deeper colour. Oat pasta is a highly nutritious, fiber-rich, and gluten-free alternative to traditional wheat pasta, offering a lower glycemic index and superior nutrient density.

 

When cooking oat fusilli pasta there is less margin for error than regular pasta, the window between hard and mushy is narrow so be sure to keep a close eye on it. It is also important to stir is regularly  as it can stick together.

Pasta d’alba is an organic pasta company founded by the Mainardi family in the hills around Alba, Italy. Alba is a region famous for its truffles, hazelnuts and has a long history of artisan, small-scale food production. The Mainardi family has been farming organically here since the 1980's, long before it was fashionable. The business is now run by three siblings, Luisa, Marco and Laura, who have kept the artisan, hands-on approach while letting modern machinery take care of the repetitive bits.

Ruxstons Next Day Delivery

All our products are posted via Next Day courier from Monday through to Thursday. Any orders placed before 12:00 will normally be posted that same day.

 

We offer a frozen product delivery for our meats, with insulative woolcool and ice packs, our parcels are sent via Next Day courier. The parcels are all tracked so you are able to be present for the delivery, we dispatch from Mondays to Thursdays to avoid weekend delays. Any perishables products are kept safe in our packaging during a delay of up to 1 day, meaning they are safe for 2 days in the postal system.
