Buckwheat penne follows the same tube shape and normal organic penne. It has a slightly darker colour and a mild nutty flavour. It works well with simple sauces such as pesto, cheese or tomato. Making a Penne Arrabbiata dish is a personal favorite and very easy to do for a packed lunch.

The Mainardi family has been farming organically here since the 1980's, long before it was fashionable.
