Turmeric Tagliolini follows the same northern Italian style as any other tagliolini. It is thin and flat with a natural yellow colour from the turmeric. If this pasta is overcooked it will lose the flavour and colour so ensure you factor in cooking time once it is off the boil. The flavour is slightly earthy and works well with light creamy sauces. It pairs particularly well with our organic chicken breast. As it is very fine, cook it quickly and avoid heavy sauces.

Alba is a region famous for its truffles, hazelnuts and has a long history of artisan, small-scale food production. The Mainardi family has been farming organically here since the 1980's, long before it was fashionable. The business is now run by three siblings, Luisa, Marco and Laura, who have kept the artisan, hands-on approach while letting modern machinery take care of the repetitive bits.
